We are pleased to announce that patients registered at the practice are now able to book routine appointments to see a GP at the practice and request repeat prescriptions online. In addition, from April 2015 patients will also be able to access information about their current and past medications online.
This means that, as well as being able to book an appointment by telephone and in the practice patients also have the option to make a routine appointment and request repeat prescriptions online. The practice are really pleased to be able to offer this service to their patients as it provides easier access to practice services. Patients are able to book routine appointments from 2 days to 2 weeks in advance.
If you are a patient at this practice and would like to access online appointment bookings and repeat prescription requests, you will need to attend the practice to speak with a receptionist who will be able to provide you with access to the online booking system. You will also be provided with a user name and password which will be unique to you. Due to confidentiality patients will be required to come into the practice to request access to online appointments. Parents or guardians of children under the age of 16 will be able to be provided with access to online services for their child/children. Patients who are unable to attend the practice are able to provide written consent for a family member or friend to collect details on their behalf.
