Cardiac Clinic Providing advice on life style, heart related problems, blood pressure, lipids and treatment.
Respiratory Clinic Providing advice on Respiratory problems including Asthma and COPD and treatment.
Diabetic Clinic Providing advice on life style, diet, treatment for people with diabetes including insulin initiation.
Antenatal Clinic We provide support for women throughout pregnancy usually shared with your local hospital.
Immunisations We provide all the recommended Childhood Vaccinations as well as other vaccinations such as flu jab.
Smoking Cessation We provide a range of support services for stopping smoking and a healthy life style.
Minor Surgery

We are able to offer a range of minor surgery procedures e.g. removal of small lumps and also joint injections.

 

Community Dermatology

 

Well Man / Women Clinic
 

We  provide a community Dermatology clinic run by a Consultant and GPSI (Dr M Shiraz).

We offer advice on a range of men’s and women’s health issues.

Travel Advice We provide advice and vaccinations for travelling abroad. Note that some vaccinations and medications are not available on the NHS and there will be a charge for these.
Private Work

We can undertake some private medical work including medical insurance and claims. There will be charge for these.

 

Contraceptives We provide general advice, oral and injectable contraceptives. Please note we do not provide IUCD service. Doctors and nurses are keen to help and advice teenagers with various issues.
Other Services

Phlebotomy, Family planning, ECG, Spirometry, Hypertension, Cervical Smear. We also provide in house  Counselling service, Inhealth Ultrasound service for the community.

 

 

Immediate necessary treatment provided for unregistered overseas patients.

Blood/Urine Tests:-

If you are asked to bring in a specimen please do so before 11:00 am Mon to Fri as they are collected and taken to St. George’s Hospital.

If the doctor or nurse ask you to have a blood test, you can:-

Do it in house as we have a phlebotomy service on Tue, Wed, Thu,  Fri 8:00 am to 11:00 am  and Wed, Fri 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Appointment needed for this service.

Or you can go to the St. George’s Hospital Mon to Fri 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. No appointment necessary.

If you have been asked to Fast, you need to attend in the morning having had nothing to eat from midnight the night before. You may drink only water.

We have a Patient Group Representatives which consists of 15 members and we meet them every 4 months to discuss and improve the services we provide. They are:-
