Please be assured Tooting South Medical Centre is open and here to help you when needed. In line with national guidance, we are operating differently in order to protect patients and staff.
All GP appointments are operated by telephone triage system. This means the reception team will book you in for a telephone consultation with a GP. The GP will determine if they can help you remotely or if you need to be assessed face to face. If the GP feels you need to be seen, they will give you a date and time of when to come into the surgery.
If you are attending the surgery, please wear a face covering and respect social distancing. If you are asked to wait outside or in the car, please do so. Please sanitise your hands upon entering and leaving the building.
In order to keep you safe whilst in the building, the waiting areas have been marked so you know where it is safe to sit. You will need to check in for your appointment with the receptionist rather than the self check in screen. Our reception team are wearing face coverings and your clinician will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
We ask that patients do not come into the surgery to book an appointment. Please contact us on 020 8682 0521 to arrange an appointment or alternatively, via online such as Doctorlink, Patient Access, MyGP etc.
We continue to provide home visits to those that need them. Please be aware this service is only available for patients who are housebound or those unable to attend the surgery. If you think you may need a home visit, please contact the surgery before 10am to book your request.
